All Colors

Is there a chart that shows all the eye colors?

I want a link to a chart that shows all or most of the eye colors.

(it doesn't have to be a photograph it could be a just shades)

I want to see more than just he basic eye colors I want lots of shades.

am not sure that what you are looking for actually exists.

The color in our eyes is in the iris. Each person has a unique iris if you look closely enough - in fact, this is one way that people can be identified exactly, similar to the unique patterns found in teeth or fingerprints.
Thus, since each person is unique in the pattern of their irises, in a sense, each person is also unique in their eye color - and so there may not be a chart (or a use for such a chart) that tries to show 'all' the different eye colors.

Also, people's eyes seem to change color depending on the light, what they are wearing, and so on, so to make a chart of eye colors would be a bit futile, in the sense that it would be difficult to compare a given person's eyes to the chart since their eyes would look different at a different time.

But I do have 2 alternatives that you could try to pursue.

One is to make your own chart. Perhaps by googling with words like iris, eye, color, blue, green, hazel, albino, and so on, you can find pictures that you can put together. The Wikipedia site, for example, has a number of pictures of differently colored eyes.

The second is to try looking through old copies of a magazine called The Scientist. You might need to go to a university library to do this. The reason this might be useful is that a few years ago, say around 2001 - 2004, they used to run an advertisement from a biotech company that had really cool close up photos of about 12 or 16 different eyes. I was so struck by the image, that I am sure I cut the photo out, but I can't find it now. I also can't remember the company.
Sorry!
But, there is a chance - if you trust my memory :-) - that if you go to a library and flip through the magazine starting around October 2004 and going backwards that you will find the ad. Crazy, I know, but it might give you just the photo you want.
(If you don't find it in The Scientist, you could also try the journals Science and Nature, in that order.)

I tried googling all kinds of ways to see if I could find this photo, but without a precise date or the name of the company that used the ad, I wasn't able to find anything. Sorry!

Good luck.
