I live in an apartment and the UPS is delivering some things -- where will they leave it?

We don't have a doorman, the front door leads directly outside, and my mom's afraid the neighbors will steal it if they leave it outside our door. She got a UPS notice and taped it to the door with a note on the back telling the guy to leave it at the office with the landlady. Will he do that anyway, or how does it work? Will they leave it by the mailboxes?

I live in a large apartment complex and UPS leaves packages at the office if no one is home to receive them. Since your mother signed the notice for UPS to take the package to the office it will be done.

When I order something on line I always put in remarks "Leave at office if not home." Works every time.
