What is the best edge to do on granite countertops?
What type of edge should I choose for my granite counter tops? There are too many options: eased, bull nose, half bull nose, ogee, etc. I have urban modern taste, but also want to consider future resale. Thanks 
They vary greatly in price. So if you want to keep the cost down, I'd recommend half bull nose. The reason: When water or any liquid runs off the counter, the half bull nose directs it away from the cabinets and onto the floor. A full bull nose takes the liquid and directs it onto the cabinet face. I got that tip years ago when installing our granite and it works very well. We also extended the front lip of the granite about 1" longer than normal and that also keeps the run off from getting on the cabinets.
Many of the other edges are much fancier and more expensive, so it's really the look you like, you never know what the next buyer will want. So pick what you like.
