I am outside using an extension cord with a heavy-ground pool. How can I protect myself?

I have a pool Intex for children with a short cable. I have to use a heavy extension cord outside of the filter. I hate to leave on the grass with dew and rain and everything. "I can put in a pipe? Do not run the filter when someone is in the pool, just in case. I have an outdoor outlet GFI protected. I'm sure I'm not the only one doing this! Thank you!

You have some options. You can restart the steel wire armor. This can be done on the surface and provide adequate protection, but it obviously requires ellectrician aqualified. the best solution for you is probably to get the cable inside which is known as a hose or a trade name KOPEX. This information is available from most wholesalers in good condition.
