tool to open my washing machine?
i need to take the top off my washing machine as the drum is jammed. i thought i needed a philips head screw driver but on closer inspection as there is a thin piece of metal protruding, i need something like a philips screw driver but with a thin hole up the middle. does anyone know what this is called so i can look for one, and where i might get one?
It is very annoying when you come up against these special security screws on a multitude of appliances these days. You require what is called a "security bit set" obtainable from Screwfix. costing a fiver. Freephone 0500 41 41 41, internet screwfix.com. If they illustrate these on line, you can see the small diameter hole up the middle as you describe.
