If you were redoing your bathroom, would you put tile above the tub or a tub wall liner? Pros/cons of each?

We're replacing our 70s tub in the bathroom. I want tile and my hubby wants a tub wall liner. Just curious what your thoughts are.
I should add that my father in law will do the tile work, so it's "free" labor. lol.

The tub wall liner is less likely to leak, but I like the way the tile looks. So I go with tile when I have to redo a bathroom for my own house.
