Sunday, August 28th, 2011My car has no power??
I just did an engine saw a 3000gt VR4 (twin turbo) and after installing the battery I do not get no power what so ever. I checked all my connections, fuses, and made sure I had good connections to the terminals and the load to the battery. I do not have a tester but I do not get spark when I connect the battery terminals So I do kno he has a little juice in it. When I put the key and turn, I get nothing at this stage, no lights turn on, no radio, no sound, nothing. I'm not sure what I might be forgetting? If anyone has any clever ideas, any help would be great, Thanks ...
If you have just exchanged one engine on a VR-4 (I a) there are many things that can go wrong on the restart. All connections to the computer should be checked. You can check it is properly connected. In the absence of radio lights to come no, no, I would check ignition, fuses, and finally I right not touch the battery to the starter using jumper cables to at least see if it will turn. This list goes on and on. Ignition timing Battery Starter Alternator fuse all connections and wiring connections to the ground strap etc.
