Temporary Lights

Temporary Lights
Caliber temporary lighting?

I'll hang some temporary lights in my basement while I'm working there and want to know what gauge stranded copper wire to use. I will have ten (10) twenty-six (26) watt compact fluorescent bulbs distributed more than 100 feet wire. 12.02 I would use twisted wire, but I think that might be excessive for the small charge of 2.16 amp lamps, but was not sure if the 100 ' length would affect that calculation? Thanks, Dave.

Yes, 12 gauge wire will be an excess. Even 14 gauge would be more than enough to supply the number of compact fluorescent lamps.
